H.B. 4783 requires notice of an election of the Frio Hospital District's board of directors to conform with the notice requirement in the Election Code. RULEMAKING AUTHORITY It is the committee's opinion that this bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, department, agency, or institution. ANALYSIS H.B. 4783 amends the Special District Local Laws Code to require notice of an election of the Frio Hospital District board of directors to conform with the notice requirement in the Election Code. H.B. 4783 repeals Section 1030.053, Special District Local Laws Code, requiring a person who wants to have the person's name printed on the ballot as a candidate for a director to file with the board secretary a petition requesting that action.
