O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB488 by Bohac (Relating to the eligibility requirements for volunteer deputy registrars.), As Engrossed    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Election Code allowing a person to be eligible for appointment as a volunteer deputy registrar if the person has not been convicted of a felony, has been fully discharged from the sentence, or pardoned or otherwise released. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
