O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB559 by Hernandez (Relating to the nondisclosure of certain personal information in voter registration records and concealed handgun license records that relates to a justice of the peace.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Election Code to include a justice of the peace in the definition of "state judge" for the purpose of allowing a justice of the peace to request omission of the justice's address from the election registration list. The bill would amend the Government Code to include a justice of the peace in the definition of "state judge" for the purpose of allowing a justice of the peace to use the justice's courthouse address in lieu of their residence address on the license and to indicate on the license the justice's status as a judge. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
