The bill would amend the Penal Code regarding what constitutes certain Class C misdemeanor gambling offenses and what constitutes a defense to prosecution. It is anticipated that any costs for enforcement and prosecution of these gambling offenses would be absorbed using existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
