O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB768 by Kolkhorst (Relating to the requirement that a new road ordered by the commissioners court of a county be laid out by a jury of view.), As Engrossed    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would repeal Section 251.054, Transportation Code, removing the requirement for a jury of view to be appointed to lay out a new road ordered by the county commissioners court. Local Government Impact Counties contacted regarding the impact of the bill reported that they have not utilized this type of action in numerous years and would therefore experience no fiscal impact.
