H.C.R. No. 285
HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, House Joint Resolution No. 14 has been adopted by
the senate and the house of representatives and is being prepared
for enrollment; and
WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be
corrected; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the 81st Legislature of the State of Texas, That
the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed
to correct House Joint Resolution No. 14 as follows:
In SECTION 1.02 of the joint resolution, in the prescribed
ballot language (conference committee report page 4, line 23),
between "tax revenue purposes" and the period, insert ", and to
limit the legislature's authority to grant the power of eminent
domain to an entity".
