O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HJR98 by Thompson (Proposing a constitutional amendment authorizing the governor to grant a pardon to certain persons under specific circumstances. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.  The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $90,882.  The resolution would allow the Governor to grant pardons to people upon the successful completion of a term of deferred adjudication community supervision and posthumous pardons for actual innocence. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
