No. 1152 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Lydia Wilson Musgrave of Cedar Park, who died on January 14, 2008, at the age of 44; and WHEREAS, Ms. Musgrave was a longtime, dedicated employee of the Texas Board of Law Examiners; joining the agency in October 1986, she served a notable 21-year tenure that included work as a receptionist, licensure analyst, and executive assistant; and WHEREAS, She ably handled a number of responsibilities associated with more than 40 Texas bar examinations and over 50,000 Texas law license applicants; she also created and updated many of the board's online forms, filing tools, rulebooks, and other important documents; and WHEREAS, In addition to her career with the state, Ms. Musgrave was a talented writer and editor; she was known by many for her generosity of spirit and earned several awards from the State Employee Charitable Campaign for distinguished service during annual fund drives; and WHEREAS, A loving wife and daughter, Lydia Musgrave is deeply missed, but the memory of her courage, her warmth, and her indomitable spirit continues to be treasured by all who knew her; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Lydia Wilson Musgrave and extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to her husband, Val Musgrave; to her mother, Paula Welch; and to her other relatives and many friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Lydia Wilson Musgrave.
