H.R. No. 1805
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love
and shared experiences, and Leo and Rosalie Mynarcik of West
celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on January 27,
2008; and
WHEREAS, Leo Mynarcik and the former Rosalie Petter were
joined in matrimony on the bride's birthday in 1948 at the
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbott; through the
years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that includes
their children, George Mynarcik, Kathy Hons and her husband, Don,
and Tim Mynarcik and his wife, Linda; and
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, the couple are
parishioners of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West; Mr.
Mynarcik served in Europe during World War II and worked for Ford
Motor Company and Ben E. Keith Distributing until his retirement in
1982, after which he worked several years delivering for Pool Quip;
Mrs. Mynarcik made a career of raising her family for many years and
later worked for the Dallas Independent School District until
retiring in 1991; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Mynarcik have enjoyed six decades of
abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
commitment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Leo and Rosalie Mynarcik on their
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Mynarcik as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
