H.R. No. 1808 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, A 60th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love and shared experiences, and Kenneth and Enelda Niles of Waco celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on June 19, 2007; and WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Niles were joined in matrimony on that special day in 1947; through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that includes their children, Jamie and Ross Rogers, Tim and Marla Niles, Debbie and David Golden, and Ken and Candy Niles, as well as 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and WHEREAS, Respected members of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Mr. Niles is retired from the City of Waco and from the McLennan County Appraisal District and Mrs. Niles is retired from Graham Embroidery; and WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Niles have enjoyed six decades of abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting commitment; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Kenneth and Enelda Niles on their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Niles as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
