H.R. No. 2204
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is pleased to
recognize Lee Baron of El Paso for his outstanding work as a
legislative assistant in the office of State Representative Chente
Quintanilla; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Baron has had an
opportunity to learn more about the legislative process and the
issues facing the citizens of the Lone Star State, and he has
brought a high level of enthusiasm, commitment, and care to every
task; and
WHEREAS, The son of Larry and Melinda Baron, Mr. Baron will
graduate from The University of Texas at Austin in December 2009; he
is a member of the University Democrats and is studying government
and rhetoric and writing; this fine young Texan has also served as a
campaign coordinator during a U.S. congressional election; and
WHEREAS, With skill, perseverance, and dedication, Mr. Baron
has made invaluable contributions to the State of Texas during the
current session, and he may indeed look forward to a rewarding
future; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby commend Lee Baron for his service as a
legislative assistant in the office of State Representative Chente
Quintanilla and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Baron as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
