H.R. No. 2850
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Locally owned and operated businesses play a vital
role in the prosperity of the Lone Star State, and Classic-Tyler
Motors of Tyler is celebrating the grand opening of its new
Mercedes-Benz dealership on May 28, 2009; and
WHEREAS, Since 1994, Classic-Tyler Motors has been a leader
in new and used automobile sales in Northeast Texas, and the company
employs more than 200 area Texans; and
WHEREAS, Already the local dealer for Toyota and Scion,
Classic-Tyler is expanding its business to sell new and used
Mercedes-Benz automobiles, providing an even greater variety of
products and services to its customers; and
WHEREAS, By creating jobs and helping to strengthen and
diversify the economic environment of Tyler, Classic-Tyler
Mercedes-Benz is sure to have a positive impact on its community;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Classic-Tyler Motors on the grand
opening of its new Mercedes-Benz dealership and extend to the
company and its staff sincere best wishes for success; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Classic-Tyler Mercedes-Benz as an expression of high
regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
