H.R. No. 405
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Blake Green has provided indispensable support to
the district office of Representative Hubert Vo; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Green joined Representative Vo's staff as a
legislative intern in 2006; after a hiatus to complete his master's
of business administration degree at Texas Southern University, he
returned to work in the representative's office in 2008; and
WHEREAS, In his position as senior legislative aide, Mr.
Green has managed his many daily responsibilities in an exceptional
manner, demonstrating impeccable judgment and resourcefulness in
addressing constituent needs, in scheduling and researching, and in
preparing written and oral communications; and
WHEREAS, This notable Texan has an established history of
leadership in both academic and professional associations, as well
as in issue-based projects and public organizations; this record
will serve him well as he embarks on the next step in his career,
returning to Texas Southern University to head its new executive
MBA program; and
WHEREAS, Blake Green has performed his duties in the office
of Representative Vo with skill and dedication, and his fine work
has been of great benefit to the constituents of House District 149;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas
Legislature hereby honor Blake Green for his outstanding service as
a legislative aide and extend to him sincere best wishes for
continued success in all of his endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Green as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
