No. 471 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and loving moments remain to comfort the family and friends of Joe Ross Beauchamp of San Antonio, who passed away on November 5, 2007, at the age of 47; and WHEREAS, Born on February 17, 1960, Mr. Beauchamp was a graduate of East Central High School and a valued employee of Associated Collision Center, where he worked as a damage appraiser; and WHEREAS, This beloved Texan was also active in his community, serving on the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Committee and as a member of the East Central Foundation; and WHEREAS, A man who cherished his faith, Mr. Beauchamp attended Houston Terrace Baptist Church for many years and was a congregant of Baptist Temple Church at the time of his passing; in his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a passion for golf that led him to organize a number of tournaments throughout the city; and WHEREAS, Joe Beauchamp brightened the lives of all who knew him with his contagious laugh and playful sense of humor; although his absence is still keenly felt, he has left behind a wealth of memories to treasure for those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Joe Ross Beauchamp and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his daughter, Taylor Ann; to his parents, Jerry and Clara Beauchamp; to his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Mark Shaw, Teri and Jack Chance, Susie and Tim Ward, and Mary Ann and Paul Martinez; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Joe Ross Beauchamp.
