| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | by a great and enduring love, Robert and Sallie Feavel of Midland |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 24, 2008; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Feavel and the former Sallie A. Estlund were |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | joined in matrimony on that special day in 1948 in New London, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Wisconsin; through the years, they have nurtured a fulfilling |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | marriage that has been made even richer with the addition of four |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | sons, Randall, David, Scott, and Jay, as well as 12 grandchildren |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | and three great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Residents of Midland since 1988, Mr. and Mrs. Feavel |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | lived in Wisconsin and Colorado before moving to the Lone Star |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | State; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past six |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 81st Texas |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Robert and Sallie Feavel on their |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |

| 25 | 25 | | continued happiness; and, be it further |
