O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB1212 by West (Relating to granting limited state law enforcement authority to special agents of the Office of Inspector General of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to grant special agents of the Office of Inspector General of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs the powers of arrest, search, and seizure for any felony offense under the laws of the State of Texas.   The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education anticipates no significant fiscal impact to their agency. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
