O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board IN RE:SB1645 by Van de Putte (Relating to a study of the feasibility of establishing separate reimbursement under the Medicaid vendor drug program for certain pharmacy care management services.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission to study and report on the feasibility of establishing separate reimbursement under the Medicaid program for pharmacy care management services. The report would be due to the legislature on September 1, 2010. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of the members of each house; if not, it takes effect September 1, 2009. It is assumed that HHSC can complete the study and report using existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
