Under provisions of the bill, higher education institutions would certify the eligibility of certain educational aides to receive an exemption from tuition and fees charged by the institutions.  Under current law, the Higher Education Coordinating Board makes the determination. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
