O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB1934 by Watson ( relating to the authority of certain governmental entities to receive local sales tax information.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Tax Code to require the Comptroller, upon request, to provide sales tax information to a transit or transportation authority or emergency services district that had adopted a sales tax. The Comptrollers office indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.
