O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB2001 by Van de Putte (Relating to the designation of May 9 as Willie Velasquez Day.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would add Willie Velasquez Day as an optional holiday for state employees on May 9th of each year.  An agency head could allow an employee to have May 9th off with pay in lieu of another state holiday that the employee would take off during the same fiscal year. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
