O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB2017 by Watson (Relating to a public hearing held by the Texas Transportation Commission in connection with certain highway projects.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to post design and schematic layouts of certain highway projects on the department's Internet website at least seven days before a public hearing regarding the projects. Based on the analysis of TxDOT, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
