O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB2148 by Patrick, Dan (Relating to information and assistance provided by the chief appraiser to emergency management authorities.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Tax Code to authorize a chief appraiser, if requested by federal, state, or local government emergency management authorities, to provide information and assistance pertinent to disaster mitigation or recovery, including assisting in the estimation of damage from an actual or potential disaster event.
