O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB2177 by Shapleigh (Relating to the establishment of a nonprofit organization for the acquisition of historic art pieces for the Capitol.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would allow the agency, in consultation with appropriate agencies and committees, to participate in the establishment and operation of an affiliated nonprofit organization that is established for the purpose of raising money for the acquisition of art pieces for the Capitol.   The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.   It is assumed that any additional duties and responsibilities required by the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
