The bill would amend the Government Code and provides that funds recovered by the AttorneyGenerals Office as civil penalties pursuant to an action under the Business and Commerce Code areto be credited to the judicial fund for certain approved programs providing civil legal services to theindigent. It is assumed that any costs associated with implementation of the bill would not besignificant. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
