RULEMAKING AUTHORITY This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, institution, or agency. SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS SECTION 1. Amends Subchapter A, Chapter 411, Government Code, by adding Section 411.0206, as follows: Sec. 411.0206. REPRESENTATIVE FRED HILL CENTER FOR FORENSIC ANALYSIS. Provides that the Texas Department of Public Safety Garland Laboratory located at the Department of Public Safety Regional Headquarters in Garland is named the Representative Fred Hill Center for Forensic Analysis in honor of former Texas State Representative Fred Hill. SECTION 2. Effective date: September 1, 2009.
