The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code by adding Section 108.101 to define and allow certain permit and license holders to conduct consumer product instruction events at the premises of a retailer holding a license or permit to sell alcoholic beverages for on- or off-premises consumption. The bill would also provide guidelines for the operation of consumer product instruction events. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission anticipates no significant fiscal impact to their agency. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
