O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB279 by Nelson (Relating to the modification of an order establishing the conservatorship of a child or providing for the possession of or access to a child based on military deployment.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Family Code relating to child custody arrangements when a parent has been deployed with the military. To the extent the bill would amend court procedures relating to custody orders, no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
