The bill would amend Alcoholic Beverage Code, Chapter 106 and Transportation Code, Chapter 524 to include the operation of a watercraft while intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol to the driver license suspension statutes related to driving under the influence by a minor. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2009. The Department of Public Safety anticipates no significant fiscal impact to the agency. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
