The bill authorizes the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to exchange immunization records with other state and local health departments during disasters or emergencies involving evacuations or relocations; this includes releasing information from the immunization registry maintained by DSHS and including information received from other states in the immunization registry. It is assumed that any cost associated with activities required under the bill can be absorbed within existing agency resources.
