O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB423 by Carona (Relating to the conditions of community supervision to be imposed on a defendant who is a member of a criminal street gang.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to require when a court grants community supervision to a person determined to be a member of a criminal street gang that conditions of community supervision must include that the defendant not knowlingly communicate with another member of a criminal street gang except as authorized by the court or by an employee of a law enforcement agency for the purpose of aiding in a criminal investigation. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
