O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board IN RE:SB431 by Wentworth (Relating to the enforcement of unpaid child support.), As Introduced No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would permit a court to decide how much a child support obligor owes in past-due child support, regardless of the date the child support became due or when the child support obligation ended, until all arrearages are paid. The Office of the Attorney General would pursue enforcement actions against those child support obligors. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
