O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB521 by Averitt (Relating to the Texas Department of Transportation's memorial sign program.), As Engrossed    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Transportation Code to allow one or more names to be included on a sign designed and posted under the Texas Transportation Commission's memorial sign program as long as the total length of the names does not exceed one line of text. Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Transportation, it is assumed that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's current resources.
