The bill would require the Public Utility Commission (PUC) to adopt rules to add incentive programs for generation capacity from solar energy technologies to the utility energy efficiency program. The Public Utility Commission anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.
