O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB620 by Shapleigh (Relating to the state's goal for non-wind renewable electric generating capacity.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend Section 39.904 of the Utilities Code by raising the goal for non-wind renewable energy generation. The bill would require the Public Utility Commission to adopt rules to raise the target for non-wind capacity and measures to support non-wind renewable energy development.  The Public Utility Commission indicates that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
