O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB742 by Wentworth (Relating to the qualifications to serve as an associate judge or visiting associate judge in certain family law proceedings.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Family Code to add qualifications to be eligible for appointment as an associate judge or a visiting associate judge in certain family law proceedings defined by the provisions of the bill. A district or county attorney could enter into an agreement with a local criminal defense bar association regarding the implementation of the discovery procedures.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
