The bill would amend the Insurance Code to require the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to develop a TexLink to Health Coverage Division to promote awareness and education about the purchase and availability of health coverage. Based on the analysis from TDI, it is assumed that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of this bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
