Methodology The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) indicates that six radiologist assistants in Texas would currently meet the eligibility requirements in the bill for this new certification, therefore any cost to implement the provisions of the bill would be minimal and could be absorbed within available resources. Radiologist assistant certification and renewal fees would generate $975 in revenue for the 2010-11 biennium, $885 in fiscal year 2012, and $945 per fiscal year for 2013 and 2014.
