O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB828 by Whitmire (Relating to a determination of value for purposes of punishment of the offense of abuse of official capacity. ), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Penal Code by allowing for the aggregation of the value of the use of the things misused involved in the offense of abuse of official capacity.  The bill also provides further definition of the fair market value of things misused in the offense of abuse of official capacity.     No significant impact on the programs and workload of state corrections agencies or on the demand for resources and services of those agencies is anticipated from any provisions of this bill.
