O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB927 by Huffman (Relating to tampering with a direct recording electronic voting machine.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Penal Code and provide the Attorney General, with the consent of the local prosecutor, concurrent criminal jurisdiction to investigate and prosecute the crime of tampering with a direct recording electronic voting machine. It is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.
