SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 72
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Sandy McDonald for her 40 years of loyal service on
behalf of the Texas Tech University School of Law; and
WHEREAS, Sandy McDonald is retiring from her position as
manager of the Texas Tech University Law School Foundation, and
she is being honored with a reception for her outstanding service
and successful efforts in providing the law school with the
assets necessary to accomplish its goals; the retirement
reception takes place on January 29 in the Mark and Becky Lanier
Professional Center; and
WHEREAS, During her many years of service as manager of the
foundation, Sandy had a positive influence on all those with whom
she was professionally associated; and
WHEREAS, Devoted to her work on behalf of the Texas Tech
University School of Law, Sandy was committed to providing a
superior educational environment for law students from all parts
of Texas and across the nation; and
WHEREAS, Through her expertise, dedication, and years of
hard work, Sandy McDonald helped to make Texas Tech University
School of Law the high-quality institution it is today; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 81st
Legislature, hereby commend Sandy McDonald for her contributions
to the Texas Tech University School of Law and extend to her best
wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in
honor of Sandy McDonald.
