The bill would amend the Election Code to require an election authority to provide written notice by mail, electronic mail, or another form of written communication of a meeting called by an election authority regarding an upcoming election to the county chair of each political party that made nominations by primary election. The bill would exclude a city secretary from the definition of an election authority. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
