The bill would amend the Local Government Code to enable counties, together with the intergovernmental pool providing liability coverages, the option of shifting some of the costs for punitive damage coverage to any of the county officials and employees who would be willing to reimburse for additional coverage. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
