This presents administrative challenges for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), according to TxDOT staff, because the toll charges and late fines must be reconciled to account for the exemption. H.B. 1274 amends current law relating to an exemption from the payment of a toll for unmarked military vehicles conducting or training for emergency operations. RULEMAKING AUTHORITY This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, institution, or agency. SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS SECTION 1.
