The bill would amend the Local Government Code to increase the amount of an expenditure for a non-construction related service from $100,000 to $500,000 for which a municipality may consider entering into certain contracts. Construction services would maintain the original limit of $100,000. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
