       AUTHOR'S / SPONSOR'S STATEMENT OF INTENT   H.B. 1469 amends current law relating to exempting certain fraternal and veterans organizations from certain bond requirements to obtain an alcoholic beverage permit or license.   RULEMAKING AUTHORITY   This bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, institution, or agency.    SECTION BY SECTION ANALYSIS   SECTION 1. Amends Section 11.61, Alcoholic Beverage Code, by adding Subsection (b-2), to provide that Subsection (b-1) (relating to filing a surety bond by certain entities) does not apply to a fraternal organization or veterans organization, as those terms are defined by Section 32.11 (Fraternal and Veterans Organizations).   SECTION 2. Effective date: September 1, 2011.
