The bill would amend the Election Code by adding a section relating to the adoption of the Agreement Among the States to Elect the President by National Popular Vote.  It is anticipated that any costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources.  The bill would take effect on September 1, 2011. The bill would amend the Election Code by adding a section relating to the adoption of the Agreement Among the States to Elect the President by National Popular Vote.
