The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to allow a local governmental entity to adopt an ordinance, rule, or regulation authorizing or requiring a business establishment that sells over-the-counter products containing ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, or norpseudoephedrine to use an electronic reporting database in addition to any other reporting or recordkeeping required by the state.
