                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 14, 2011      TO: Honorable Rob Eissler, Chair, House Committee on Public Education      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1833 by Shelton (Relating to notice requirements for certain hearings and meetings of the board of trustees of a school district.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.   Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.  The bill would provide uniform procedures for electronic notifications of certain hearings by school district boards of trustees.  In addition to the electronic notifications, school districts would retain the option of providing notice of such hearings via traditional print media at local discretion.
