The bill would require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to adopt rules to require additional financial assurance for a commercial solid waste facility, including permittees or registrants who collect, transport, or process grease trap waste or grit trap waste, if the facility treats or processes liquid waste or industrial nonhazardous waste and meets other prescribed conditions. Passage of the bill is not expected to result in a significant impact to the TCEQ's workload. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
