RULEMAKING AUTHORITY It is the committee's opinion that this bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, department, agency, or institution. ANALYSIS H.B. 2052 amends the Election Code to change from periodically to at least once in each calendar quarter of each year the frequency at which the secretary of state is required to furnish information obtained from the Bureau of Vital Statistics to the appropriate voter registrars to assist them in identifying the deceased registered voters of each county. EFFECTIVE DATE On passage, or, if the bill does not receive the necessary vote, September 1, 2011.
